The Franschhoek Wine Tram offers a hop-on hop-off tour that allows you to discover the true essence of the Franschhoek Valley. The tour takes passengers through rolling vineyards in a vintage-style railway tram and open-air tram bus, stopping at some of South Africa’s oldest and most distinguished wine estates. Passengers can hop-off at each stop to experience the activities on offer, such as wine tasting, cellar tours, lunch, or a stroll through the vineyards. The Tram Tour operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with departure days subject to change depending on the season. The tour departs at 08:30 from the V&A Waterfront Tour office, located outside the Two Oceans Aquarium, and returns to the V&A Waterfront (Stop 1) at approximately 17:30 – 17:45. The duration of the tour is approximately 8 hours.

The package includes transport from Cape Town to and from the tram in a luxury coach equipped with free wifi. Additionally, the package includes a Franschhoek Wine Tram ticket, which allows you to travel on both the Tram and the Tram bus.
